傳統(tǒng)的標準工時測算采用秒表法，只需要測出各個動作環(huán)節(jié)所花費的時間，再加以組合重組，便可得出當前崗位所需要的工時，這也是大多數(shù)線體在崗位編排上的依據，但存在一些弊端，受影響的因素較多，如作業(yè)員的作業(yè)習慣不同，作業(yè)員的習熟度不同，作業(yè)員測算時的狀態(tài)不同，導致不同的人作業(yè)，其工時測算有明顯的差異，這對新車型的人員定員計算是不利的。

為了規(guī)避這一情況，我們采用既定時間標準法中的MOST分析法來計算崗位工時，它是由美國H.B美納德公司開發(fā)，專門用于對作業(yè)工時進行測定的一種工具，以連續(xù)動作順序模塊為基礎進行分析，通過查找標準時間表來賦予動作相應的時間。這種方法無需考慮人作業(yè)的差異性，同時作業(yè)分解和時間表也較為簡單，容易上手，當作業(yè)內容發(fā)生改變時，只需簡單調整即可。MOST工時的動作分類模塊及相應的標準作業(yè)時間如表所列。

MOST標準作業(yè)工時表中采用了國際上通用的動作類型，分為輔助作業(yè)類型和主作業(yè)類型，輔助作業(yè)類型主要包括步行、彎腰、拿取、放置、對位等;主作業(yè)類型包括擰緊或松開、切割、表面處理等。輔助作業(yè)類型在任何工序內是適用的，但主作業(yè)類型卻因工藝的差異而有所不同，需要進行一定的轉換。
